The Obligation of Fasting

It is only when Allah(swt) revealed the Ayah, "O ye who believe! Fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you, that they may learn self restraint", (2: 183) fasting was made obligatory.
Another Ayah that emphasizes this obligation is: "Ramadan is the month in which we sent down the Quran, as a guide to mankind, also clear (signs) for guidance and Judgment (Between right and wrong). So every one of you who is present (at his home) during the month should spend it in fasting, but if any one is ill or on a journey, the prescribed period (should be made up) by days later. Allah intends every facility for you; he dose not want to put you difficulties. (He wants you) to complete the prescribed period, and glorify Him in that he has guided you; and perchance ye shall be grateful"(2 : 185)

Our Message to the Noble Ummah of Muhammad (s.a.w.) on this Blessed Month of Ramadhan PDF Print E-mail

For more than 80 years have seen pained heartache for the Muslim Ummah, who from a leading nation have digressed to an oppressed and enslaved people, more than ONE Billion. From the holy lands of Al-Quds, to the freezing terrain of Chechnya, to the beautiful hills of Kashmir, to the beautiful seas of the Balkans and now the deserts full of black gold in Iraq have all been occupied by the enemies of Allah (SWT). The heart aches and the soul yearns for the situation of the Muslim Ummah to change. The present generation of the Ummah knows no difference and the Kuffar attempt to portray us as such a weak nation. Our sisters cry at being dishonored at the hands of the Kuffar, yet their screams go unheard, our children enslaved to boost the economies of the Kuffar and our brothers killed and imprisoned for trying to ensure that the law of Allah (SWT) is implemented.

“The Best Jihad is to Say the Truth in Front of the Oppressive Ruler1

King Abdullah’s recent comments, calling the American Dajjal Army in Iraq an “illegitimate foreign occupation2,” may come across to many Muslims as a breath of fresh air. Could it be that after seventy-plus years of supporting American, capitalist interests the House of Saud actually wants to stand up and separate itself from the imperialist beast? The shadows on the wall seem to confirm speculation but upon analysis one sees very clearly the political intention of King Abdullah’s statements. The House of Saud is one of the most dangerous institutions presently at war against Islam. Islamic voices across the globe should call for the dismemberment of the authoritarian regime, the expulsion from positions of authority for all individuals that protect them, and the subsequent reimplementation of the actual shariah thru means of reestablishing a caliphate across Islamic lands.

Monday, 01 January 2007

There is a difference between the hadharah (civilization) and the madaniyah (material aspect of culture). The hadharah constitutes the whole concepts about life whereas the madaniyah means the material forms of sensed objects(SMS,internet, motorbike and the like) used in daily life affairs. The hadharah is based on a particular point of view in life and therefore it is specific. The madaniyah can be of two kinds: specific or universal.

In the time of the Ghuraba and fasad of the Deen, people are far way from the Wahie and the Sunnah. Every body will follow the majority and leave the Qur'an and Sunnah, few people will hold strong to the Deen.

The Messenger Muhammad (saw) said “Islam start as something strange will return back as something strange, paradise is for the strangers”. The Ghuraba (strangers) are those who reject to be from amongst the deviants.

Quba (shajarah) is a tree in paradise that’s width is like the heavens and the earth. That tree is for the believers.
