The Lessons from the Battle of Tabuk
Wednesday, 18 March 2009

As Muslims we must always remember there is a battle between the Haq (truth) and the Batil (falsehood), and that the Haq will always win, and that this battle will continue till the Day of Judgement. This is the Sunnah of Allah (swt). Allah (swt) decreed that destiny.

The Haq must reject the Batil in order to be called the haq, just like a person cannot be a Mu’min until they negate Kufr (disbelief), or claim they practice the Sunnah (prophetic tradition) until they negate the bid’ah, or claim, to be commanding Maruf (good) without also forbidding the Munkar (evil).

Hamza Ibn Abdul-Mutallib, The Lion of Allah
Friday, 20 March 2009

Hamza Ibn Abdul Mutalib Ibn Hashim Ibn Manaf. He was born in Mecca before the Prophet's birth in two years so he was very close to the Prophet . He was also the brother of the Prophet by feeding; (the same woman had feed them both, she was Halima Al-Saadiya). Knowing Your Enemy
Thursday, 12 March 2009

The Muslim is required to be aware, and learn about the plots and tricks of his enemy. Allah (subhaanahu wa-ta'aalaa) says in the Qur'aan:

إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ فَاتَّخِذُوهُ عَدُوًّا إِنَّمَا يَدْعُو حِزْبَهُ لِيَكُونُوا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ السَّعِيرِ

Surely, Shaytaan [Satan] is an enemy to you, so treat him as an enemy. He only invites his hizb [followers] that they may become the dwellers of the blazing Fire. (EMQ Faatir, 35:6)

Economic Mess And the Islamic Alternative
Saturday, 28 February 2009

The Financial crisis can be characterized by unrestrained credit crea-tion on the back of an out of control financial system that not only allows the creation of money and interest from nothing, but gambling on a mind-boggling scale. Wealth has been extracted out of the sys-tem in never before seen amounts, and will not be easily replaced. From an Islamic perspective this is entirely predictable and prevent-able. Yet the cure is requiring of the complete application of Islam within the governance structures set down within the Caliphate ruling system. A ruling system in which the economy is geared towards meeting the needs of the people, not faceless banking corporations. The following principles of economy in Islam are presented, not as reactionary points of debate to be part of the patchwork of crisis and flawed response, but as an ideological alternative which has enjoyed many centuries of success for Muslims and non-Muslims alike.

Let the Scholars Beware!
Wednesday, 30 November 2005

Abu Hurairah (radhi Allahu anhu) reported that the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhe wa salam) said: "Whoever lives in the dessert becomes rough; whoso follows the game becomes careless; and whoso comes to the doors of the rulers falls into fitnah (trouble); and a slave does not come nearer to the ruler, except that he becomes further from Allah." (Musnad Ahmad, Shiekh Ahmad Shakir said its chain of narration is Saheeh)

Valentine-A Day of Love or a Day of Sin?
Wednesday, 04 February 2009

The Holy Prophet Muhammad (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam) has stated very clearly: "Whomsoever emulates a nation is one of them." (Abu Dawud) From this Hadith we deduce that emulating the Kuffar is Haraam (totally prohibited) in regards to religious and social habits which are confined to them only.

What Should Be the Take on the Passing Away of Grand Imam of Azhar Muhammad Tantawi?

Random Quotes
“I don't know something called International Principles. I vow that I'll burn every Palestinian child (that) will be born in this area. The Palestinian woman and child is more dangerous than the man, because the Palestinian child's existence infers that generations will go on, but the man causes limited danger. I vow that if I was just an Israeli civilian and I met a Palestinian I would burn him and I would make him suffer before killing him. With one hit I've killed 750 Palestinians (in Rafah in 1956). I encourage my soldiers to rape Arabic women and girls as the Palestinian women is a slave for Jews, and we do whatever we want to her and nobody tells us what we shall do but we tell others what they shall do.”
-Ariel Sharon, In an interview with General Ouze Me
